Andy Phelan appointed editor of Express & Echo

Andy Phelan, currently editor of the Torquay Herald Express, has been appointed editor of the Express & Echo, Exeter, with immediate effect.
 
Responsible for turning the Herald Express weekly on July 21, 2011, Andy has seen a 47 per cent growth in readership since the change from daily to weekly.

Jim Parker deputy editor of the Torquay Herald Express will assume responsibility for the Herald Express until a successor is appointed.
